Samsung Tool Pro — Detailed Features

The flagship Z3X product. Works over USB cable only (no JTAG needed) for all software-level Samsung operations.

  • Flash Firmware: Supports MDL, PDA, CSC, PIT, QCN, and single-file flash. Built-in firmware downloader pulls files directly from Samsung servers — no need for third-party sites like SamFirm
  • Direct Unlock: Removes carrier/network lock without needing credits on thousands of models. Works via ADB, MTP, and Download mode depending on model and Android version
  • FRP Bypass: Google Factory Reset Protection removal. Supports multiple methods: ADB, MTP, Download mode FRP wipe, and combination firmware method for latest security patches

How Z3X Works — Technical Workflow

  1. Install Z3X Shell: Download from z3x-team.com. Shell is the main launcher for all Z3X products
  2. Activation: Each product (Samsung Tool Pro, Pandora, etc.) requires separate activation via Z3X Box hardware or digital license
  3. Connect Device: Put phone in correct mode (Download mode for Samsung, BROM for MTK, etc.) and connect via USB
  4. Select Operation: Choose tab (Flash, Unlock, FRP, etc.), select model if needed
  5. Execute: Tool communicates with phone and performs operation. Log shows real-time progress

Box vs Digital License

Z3X offers two activation types:

  • Z3X Box (hardware): Physical USB dongle. Connects to PC, activations tied to box serial number. Can hold multiple product activations. Required for Easy-Jtag Plus (includes interface hardware)
  • Digital License: Software-only activation tied to PC hardware ID. No physical dongle needed. Available for Samsung Tool Pro and Pandora. More convenient for remote/mobile technicians

How to Use Z3X Samsung Tool Pro: Step-by-Step

  1. Purchase Z3X Box/Dongle or activation credits from Code-GSM
  2. Download Z3X Shell from z3x-team.com and install
  3. Connect the Z3X Box/Dongle to your PC via USB — the software detects it automatically
  4. Launch Samsung Tool Pro from the Z3X Shell
  5. Put the Samsung phone in Download mode: Power off → hold Vol Down + Power (or Vol Down + Home + Power) → connect USB
  6. Click "Read Info" to detect the device model, firmware, and serial
  7. Select your operation: Unlock (network), FRP Reset, Flash, EFS Backup, IMEI, etc.
  8. Click the operation button and wait for completion — progress shows in the log window

Z3X Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Always install Samsung USB drivers (from Samsung website or KIES)
  • Download mode: phone screen shows a turquoise/green Android with a warning triangle
  • If "Cannot find phone" error: reinstall Samsung drivers, try different USB port, ensure phone is in Download mode (not Recovery)
  • EFS Backup is critical — always back up EFS before IMEI or flash operations (holds IMEI, carrier data, WiFi/BT MAC)
  • For LG Tool: put LG phone in Download mode with Vol Up + USB cable insertion
  • Keep Z3X Shell updated — new Samsung models require firmware/software updates
  • If Z3X Box is not detected: check Device Manager for "Z3X Box" driver, reinstall Z3X Shell
